　　中新网武汉5月16日电 (王俊芳)中外科研人员通过对已灭绝诺氏驼的化石材料开展古基因组研究，破解了诺氏驼基因之谜，并发现欧亚大陆双峰骆驼不同物种在地质历史时期存在广泛的基因流动，其演化历史比学界已有认知更为复杂。

　　这项成果由中国地质大学(武汉)生物地质与环境地质国家重点实验室教授赖旭龙、盛桂莲团队，联合中国国家博物馆、丹麦哥本哈根大学等机构科研人员完成，于近日在线发表于国际学术期刊《当代生物学》。

　　骆驼对干旱恶劣气候环境有很强的耐受性，被誉为“沙漠之舟”，是学界探究生物环境适应性的理想物种。早更新世晚期以来，欧亚及非洲大陆的骆驼以4种真驼为代表：现生的单峰驼、家双峰驼、野双峰驼和已灭绝的双峰骆驼——诺氏驼。

　　为探究两种现生双峰驼与诺氏驼的亲缘关系，研究人员对三方祖先种群可能存在的基因流动进行分析，发现在骆驼属动物进化史上，3种双峰骆驼不同种之间存在广泛杂交，诺氏驼与家双峰驼、野双峰驼之间的演化关系，不能模式化为简单的分叉树，推测其应为网状结构。

　　晚更新世末期，诺氏驼迅速走向灭绝，原因何在？研究人员分析发现，诺氏驼饮食习惯较单一，比较“挑食”。相比于现生家双峰驼和野双峰驼，诺氏驼的核苷酸多样性更低，这可能反映了在深海氧同位素3阶段(距今约6万～3万年)期间，诺氏驼种群就已发生收缩，随后到来的末次盛冰期(距今约2.1万年)，严酷气候环境成为压垮诺氏驼的最后一根稻草。

　　研究人员表示，骆驼具有耐干旱、对环境适应性强的特点，与人类文明有着密切的关系。研究诺氏驼古DNA，对揭示该物种自身演化以及系统认识其现生近缘物种的演化历史，均具有非常重要的意义。(完)
